Jane Eyre's Birthday...

170 years old today, and still looking good!




I simply adore this book. It's one I always go back to.

At first glance, Jane might not look like your typical warrior, but - oh my! - though she be small, she be extremely fierce. Her tenacity, her moral compass, and her humour make Jane Eyre one of my very favourite book she-roes.

It's a good job she didn't marry old St. John, eh? He wouldn't have stood a chance. :)
